Octagoncito is a very special case, it is of the fighters who searched for career stability, a stability that goes beyond the mere fact of staying in the same company that gave him his first opportunity. Although in itself the group of fighters who remain loyal to their companies throughout his career is small, smaller between it looks if we look at the elements that have remained in place and adequate supply in the charts. Fingers left over from when the last subgroup we stay only with those who are, after ten or more years of their arrival at your company, in the fullness of faculty. Octagoncito brings these qualities and more, although it seems remarkable is not easily recognizable: of all the fighters who have used a character that was previously worn by another, virtually none has been able to spend much time or be placed in the public taste -with the obvious exception La Parka. This applies to all cases within and outside AAA: Sacred Masks, Meters, Oros, Mysterious, Broncos, Psycho, etc., is difficult to use a name that was previously worn, is heavy for a fighter, a priori is stressful for him. There are some who can not stand it psychologically, fear the previous carrier, they fear the public and themselves. The Parka is another success story, not only reached, with an effort that the pedestal was the Park when he left AAA in 1996, but surpassed it in popularity and national projection. Octagoncito
reached Triple A in 1996 to embody the character of Panterita first, and then of The PARkit, although it was as Octagoncito its true consolidation, when he took the character in 1997, it had been previously carried by other elements within the period 1992-1995. The first Octagoncito AAA had left to be independent, which continues to this day, even coming to work for WWE on two different occasions, but its projection in Mexico dropped dramatically since that distant '95 it came out of AAA, and now his career in the country has been plunged into oblivion, so much so that when the specialist media refer to "Octagoncito," the reader immediately thinks in the native MartÃnez Torre, Veracruz, the second and only Octagoncito the AAA. Octagoncito has not been, nor need be, in WWE, or somewhere bombastic than his home, AAA, which has given all that his career is. And the best argument to support this hypothesis is this: The AAA is the only fighter force that carries the character of Octagoncito, which is recognized by the original Octagon, is World Champion Mini. Appears frequently on television and children will recognize.
In his career as such, Octagoncito has alternated with three different masqueraders Sacred: Sacred Mascarita-Tzuki Jr., "Mascarita Sagrada (wrongly called Holy Mascarita 2000, although never was that his name) and the current Holy Mascarita. Have gone before him two Mini Psicosis, one of which was unmasked by him, came to be paired with minis of the old guard, was a national champion, and today is a worthy World Champion Mini AAA.
compare your case with some of his contemporaries, who went to AAA, and participants within the same division:
- Espectrito I, which came to be regarded as the greatest mini, speaking Luchist : semi-retired and forgotten the last years of his career
- Mini Psicosis, now repackaged as Mini Black Warrior in CMLL, and bet his mask tonight, if lost, would have before him a difficult environment to move forward in this endeavor
- Mascarita Sagrada Jr. / Tzuki, has had all sorts of characters from Mini Max, Mini Rey Misterio Jr., etc., with and without a mask, and has been for all companies as it could. It has been reported that this fighter has tried several times to fight, fraudulently, under the Holy Mascarita team in promotions of northern Mexico and southern United States.
The three examples described above, have seen their careers fall following his departure as has happened with other wrestlers of normal size, Octagoncito contemporaries, who also left AAA. To quote three examples:
- Venum, known Promo Azteca and the indies as Venum Black. A wrestler who, having been in AAA, would undoubtedly be an undisputed pillar of the company, its quality and originality. Today, gone, fighting in the north in small roles.
- Super Nova, known as Mike Segura IWRG. Although his talent is great, is stuck in the same place on the charts in the same arena. It could have been a fighter with good pay and large canopies. But he left his chance to go out there in search of better opportunities probably never came.
- Pentagon, second version, or the indies Pentagon Black, Joe Mercado. A talented wrestler, was the original IWRG Dr. Brain is the most notable and Pentagon in AAA, as his predecessor, Jesus Andrade Salas and "The Scare"-Espanto Jr. / Black-Santo was injured and withdrew soon after the adopted the character. Pentagon II was the most important events in AAA until his departure, as the Twins down with Brenan. He had an excellent command of the microphone and could have done more. After his departure, the most important thing he did was lose the mask.
Now compare Octagoncito career with another element that began in those years and has remained in the company: Mini Black Abyss, another winner and backbone of the mini division of AAA ... another point in favor of stability.
stability in wrestling is not only always stay in a company, there are many factors: clearly Octagoncito train constantly, because that is reflected in their actions through the TV, it is not the same young man who was hungry for success at AAA, but it seems that it was, its performance and image intact.
Although as with all rules, there are exceptions, one of which would be the Park, who when left AAA remained a star, most of the wrestlers who do not maintain stability in their careers and are prone to the siren, have disappeared from the sky, while others, younger regularly occupy the vacant places with singular joy. Thus, wrestling is renewed, as the song that appears in The Lion King, in an endless cycle. Stability, however, is only wanted by the sound. And those are the ones who end up being the Octagoncitos, the La Parka, the Shawn Michaels, the Undertakers, those who are not only true to who gave them the opportunity. They're smart. Salve AAA Mini Champion: Octagoncito.
